About Arturo S. Leon

Dr. Arturo Leon is an Assistant Professor in the School of Civil and Construction Engineering at Oregon State University since January 2011. Dr. Leon obtained his B.S. in Civil Engineering from National University of San Cristobal de Huamanga (Peru) in 1996. In 1998, He obtained his title of Civil Engineer from the same university. In 2000, Dr. Leon obtained his M.S. in Hydraulic Engineering from National University of Engineering (Peru). From August 2002 to March 2007, Dr. Leon attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he obtained his Ph.D. degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering in May 2007.
In addition to a variety of journal articles and conference papers, Dr. Leon recently published a book titled, Improved Modeling of Transient Flows in Storm-Sewer Systems.
