Information to the People: Cooperation Between the Library and Agricultural ExtensionJournal of Agricultural and Food Information (1994)
Cooperation between the Cooperative Extension Service and the Agriculture Library at the University of Kentucky dates back to the early 1970s. Initiatives have included new agent orientation, participation in extension functions, working with extension specialists, and serving on extension committees. Current involvement with extension includes working with the National Extension Technology Conference and the Electronic Format Committee. Involvement continues to grow as services are automated.
