Abstract
Have you ever heard the idiom of “Don’t throw out the baby with the bathwater”?
If not it can be referred to as getting rid of something that is no longer wanted and in the process lose something important.
In this challenging time of the pandemic supply chains have been on display exposing their vulnerabilities. Governments and companies alike around the world have in the past either scrapped or attempted to redesign supply chain processes because they did not like them or felt that they did not meet the current needs of the times.
