About Anthony Raymond

As the Business Librarian at Santa Clara University Library it is my responsibility to ensure that faculty and students in the Leavey School of Business have access to the resources needed to support teaching and research. This requires constant review of new resources and occasionally my reviews of these resources are published and available to a wider audience. I welcome all and any questions, recommendations and comments regarding business research resources.

Prior to joining Santa Clara University, I was Head of Library Technical Services at the Higher Colleges of Technology in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, 1991-1995. I have worked at various libraries in Canada, including the Ontario Legislative Library and the Ontario Addiction Research Foundation Library. As part of a team of U.S. librarians recruited, I was a consultant for library technical services with Kuwait University Libraries. During the 1990 invasion of Kuwait by Iraq I was made a "guest" of the Iraqi Government for four months. On December 7th, I and hundreds of other hostages were released and I was home in time to celebrate Christmas with my wife and two children.
