About Anthony Dedea, MD

A true Nature Coast native, Dr. Dedea was born and raised in New Port Richey, Florida. While getting his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences, with a minor in Biomedical Physics, he met his wife. Their desire to attend medical school together lead to his travel to Ross University on the island of Dominica for basic sciences followed by extensive travel for clinical sciences to teaching hospitals throughout the east coast of the United States; from Miami, Florida to Cape Cod, Massachusetts, with Baltimore and New York in between. This not only gave Dr. Dedea the opportunity to learn from countless talented physicians, but also understand people living in each location. It became his philosophy that as much as he may know about medicine it is useless if he is unable to relate and share it with his patients. Though each location was special in its own way, it was clear to Dr. Dedea and his family that they needed to return home to their family and friends in the Tampa Bay area.
