Calling all future ready librarians! Step off your invisible plane and crash onto the assessment scene. In this session, led by an academic librarian, participants will build an arsenal of low and high tech techniques for assessing learning.  The adventure will begin with an overview of effective assessment strategies, including how to craft student learning outcomes that align with AASL Standards and local curricula, and reflect the ACRL Framework.  After introducing free tools for assessing learning, the presenter will demonstrate their use in the library classroom, and offer tips on using the data to demonstrate your school library’s impact student learning.
