About Annie Lee-Zimerle, M.F.A.

Annie Lee-Zimerle is a drawer, a painter, and a printmaker. She completed her BFA and MFA at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Interested in transferring her thoughts into tangible forms, she began to draw. Her current work is often narrative based and a reflection of her thoughts on domesticity and the mundaneness of culture.
Annie Lee-Zimerle has exhibited nationally, including exhibitions in Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Washington, D.C., Texas and New York. Her work is also in the permanent collections at the Washington Public Library in Chicago and the Joan Flasch Artists' Book Collection.
She lived in the Chicago area for 17 years before coming to Cedarville University as an Assistant Professor of Art in 2013.
She lives near the river in Dayton, Ohio with her husband and two very active sons.
