Abstract

Recently, the Integrative Human Physiology Laboratory, under the direction of Dr. Anne Crecelius, has increased its capacity for vascular measurements in humans by adding a transcranial doppler ultrasound that allows for measurement of cerebral blood velocities. This technique has already been utilized in preliminary studies related to motor control and sympathoexcitation and will continued to be used in this manner in externally funded work. Here, we present the technique, the results of recent applications, and future uses as well as potential collaborative opportunities.
