Abstract

Regular physical activity provides myriad health benefits, including improvements in physical, mental, and social-emotional health (US Department of Health & Human Services, 2018). Regular physical activity is recommended for persons across the lifespan; however the majority of adults do not meet national physical activity recommendations (Whitfield et al., 2021). Physical activity typically declines with age and is less common among women than men (Whitfield et al., 2021). As such, targeted efforts are needed to promote physical activity among older women.
