About Anna Cohen

My research centers on the ways that societies shape and are shaped by landscapes. I investigate how ancient peoples responded to political and environmental challenges, and how these responses are visible in the archaeological record via spatial analyses and ceramic archaeometry. I am additionally committed to public archaeology and the research ethics of remote sensing with modern communities near archaeological sites. My research projects are in Latin America and Utah.
