About Ann Weltin

Ann Weltin, DNP, FNP-BC, CNM is an online Professor in the College of Nursing at Sacred Heart University. Her primary teaching focus is the online MSN and FNP Programs. Other research interests include women's health and underserved populations. Ann is also a Nurse Midewife and Family Nurse Practitioner. She is the recipient of the Advanced Education Nursing Traineeship HRSA Grant for the following years; 2014-2016 and 2016-2017. In addition, Ann has mostly recently received the Meneve Dunham Award for Excellence in Teaching for her ability to stimulate and motivate students as well as inspire excellence in education. Past rewards include the Graduate Studies Special Recognition Award in 2012.
