About Anjali Shah, MD

Dr. Anjali Shah has been a physician at The Frist Clinic since 2017. Dr. Shah is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. She holds a B.A. in Neuroscience from Vanderbilt University, where she also attended medical school. After completing an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Vanderbilt, Dr. Shah attended the Medical​ ​University​ ​of​ ​South​ ​Carolina​ ​for a Gastroenterology​ ​Fellowship. In addition to several years of teaching, Dr. Shah has also held leadership positions in a variety of associations, and is a member of American​ ​Society​ ​for​ ​Gastrointestinal​ ​Endoscopy, the American​ ​Gastroenterology​ ​Association, and American​ ​Association​ ​for​ ​the​ ​Study​ ​of​ ​Liver​ ​Diseases. Dr. Shah is also committed to the community and has volunteered in non-profit clinics providing deeply needed healthcare services.
