About Angelo Gurgel

Professor of Fundacao Getulio Vargas in Brazil, former Professor of University of Sao Paulo and Research Associate of the MIT Joint Program of the Science and Policy of Global Change. Has been working with recursive dynamic and forward-looking computable general equilibrium (CGE) modeling applied to cost effectiveness analysis of climate change policy, as also on the representation of land use changes in CGE models and economic implication of biofuels. Also has worked with CGE modeling applied to agricultural economics and trade policy and poverty analysis.
