Abstract
Irene Heim and I are the co-founders of Natural Language Semantics and were co-editors of this journal for 30 years before handing over the editorship to Amy Rose Deal in 2022. The journal is devoted to semantics and its interfaces in grammar, especially syntax. It encourages the convergence of approaches employing the concepts of logic and philosophy with perspectives of generative grammar on the relations between meaning and structure.
