Description

On March 5, 2020, the W&L Law Library hosted a panel discussion of William Golding's classic novel Lord of the Flies -- the unforgettable tale of schoolboys stranded on a jungle island, where their struggle for survival pits the structures of society against the primal instincts of human nature.

The event continued an annual tradition of faculty panel discussions on popular works of fiction and non-fiction with a connection to the law. This year's speakers included W&L professors Mark Drumbl and David Eggert from the School of Law, and Lynn Chin from the Department of Sociology and Anthropology. W&L Law librarian Andrew Christensen served as moderator.
