About Andrew Walsh

Dr. Andrew Walsh is the Undergraduate Chair at Department of Anthropology. He is also an Associate professor Sociocultural Anthropology. His research interest ritual and different reckonings of history and identity in the Ankarana region in northern Madagascar. He focuses on examining the impact of a wide range of issues in the region including mining, conservation, ecotourism and the the proliferation of small-scale transnational humanitarian nd development aid.
