About Andrew Ezigbo

Andrew Ezigbo is a senior, majoring in Sport and Exercise Science (Kinesiology), and minoring in Africana Studies and Leadership Studies, at the University of Central Florida, Orlando.  He completed an Associate in Arts degree from Valencia College, Orlando, in May 2016, prior to transferring to UCF in June 2016. Since enrolling at UCF, Andrew has actively pursued leadership and volunteer opportunities.  He volunteers weekly at the Knights Helping Knights Pantry, a service organization affiliated with UCF, and has twice been recognized as the Volunteer of the Week.  Andrew is a member and Vice-President of the Service Learning Advisory Board (SLAB) sponsored by the Office of Experiential Learning. He is also a Research and Mentoring Program-Transfer Student (RAMP-T) Scholar, and a Civic Engagement Scholar in UCF’s LEAD Scholars Program.  Andrew’s future graduate school plans include completion of a Masters in Sport and Exercise Science (Kinesiology) at UCF.  He also hopes to earn a Ph. D. in Exercise Physiology. His areas of research interest include health promotion and wellness, Africana Studies, and Leadership Studies.
