Abstract

What a hoot! When I read Leadership Bloopers and Blunders, I laughed so hard, I couldn't put the book down.
As you read these true stories about leadership blunders and misfortunes, and recall similar incidents in the news, a persistent inner voice says, “There, but for the grace of God, go I.”
By collecting stories about true, yet bizarre incidents and raising questions about how leadership decisions are made, the authors put you on the scene as the proverbial fly on the wall. You are compelled to ask, “What would I have done differently in that situation? Will an incident like that be my own legacy? How can I avoid being thrust into the media spotlight - looking like a fool or worse?
The authors explain “this book is intended to expand thinking, prepare leaders for the real world, encourage reflection and discussion, and possibly result in a little laughter as you read.” We are fortunate. The authors accomplished their objective with their true stories and thought provoking questions. Laugh, reflect, enjoy, and learn from the experiences of others.  -- Peter W. D. Wright, Esq.
