About Andréanne N Zizzo

Dr. Andréanne Zizzo is a pediatric gastroenterologist whose research focuses on pediatric hepatology, especially immune-mediated liver diseases, as well as the epigenetic causes of autoimmune hepatitis in children. She is also interested in novel analytical techniques.

Dr. Andréanne Zizzo obtained her Bachelor of Health Sciences at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. She graduated in medicine from the University of Ottawa and paediatrics from Western University in London, Ontario. Her training in paediatric gastroenterology at the Hospital for Sick Children was combined with a Master’s in Clinical Epidemiology at the University of Toronto.  

Area of speciality and research interests:
Dr. Andréanne Zizzo's subspecialty interests are paediatric liver disease and liver transplantation. She has maintained a broad clinical exposure to endoscopic procedures and paediatric gastroenterology. Her clinical research focus is on immune-mediated liver diseases.  She is also passionate about novel analytical techniques in research. Dr. Zizzo is eager to continue her participation in clinical research and in academic teaching at Western University.
