Abstract

The Boise State University Albertsons Library MakerLab has been providing students, staff, and faculty with an inclusive space in which they can learn new skills and bring their creations to reality for four years. To better understand, serve, and expand the userbase of the MakerLab, a survey was issued in Fall 2019 to the BSU student body. The study provided valuable data that can be used to make the MakerLab a more accessible and positive experience for any and every user. The Fall 2019 survey showed that, in order to keep the MakerLab successful in its educational and social mission, a new survey should be administered once a year.
