About Amy L Spare

Ms. Spare received her B.A. from Temple University and her J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law. After law school, she clerked for the Chief Judge of the Alaska Court of Appeals and then worked for the Alaska Public Defender’s Offices in Bethel and Anchorage. She returned to Pennsylvania and worked for Central Pennsylvania Legal Services in York. After earning her M.L.I.S. from University of Texas at Austin, she went on to head the Government Publications Department at Rice University’s library which is a designated patent and trademark depository library as well as a federal depository library. Prior to joining the library staff at Villanova, she was a research librarian at a major law firm in Houston, Texas.
