Abstract

Today’s school counselors need to be effective leaders and change agents. Unfortunately, these roles are rarely addressed fully during the graduate training. This book, by Felicia L. Wilczenski, Ed.D.; Rebecca A. Schumacher, Ed.D.; and Amy L. Cook,Ph.D., teaches school counselors the imperative skills of mentoring and supervising to aid in their interactions with graduate students completing a practicum or internships. School counselors also serve as mentors and supervisors when they assume leadership positions.
