About Dr. Amy Dellinger Page

Dr. Amy Dellinger Page is professor of sociology and undergraduate programs director of the Department of Sociology at Appalachian State University.

She regularly teaches courses about gender and interpersonal violence, and has published in the areas of police officers’ attitudes toward women and rape, North Carolina sexual offender policy, interpersonal violence, and gender variance, including transgender issues.

She serves as co-chair of Appalachian’s Interpersonal Violence Council and also co-chaired the university’s committees for training and assessment of the campus climate. Additionally, Page is involved with OASIS Inc., the local non-profit organization serving survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
