About Amar Rasheed

Dr. Amar Rasheed is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Georgia Southern University. He received his Ph.D. from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Texas A&M University, College Station in 2010. Dr. Rasheed's research interests include cyber physical system security, secure multiparty computation, secure cloud computing, secure wireless body sensor network, trusted computing for mobile computing, sensor networks, wireless computer networks, and applied cryptography. He is particularly interested in developing cryptographic algorithms for wireless sensor networks and secure multiparty computation techniques.
