About Amanda J. Reinke

Amanda J. Reinke is a doctoral student in the University of Tennessee's Department of Anthropology. She is a Graduate Teaching Assistant, teaching ANTH 130: Introduction to Cultural Anthropology. She received her B.A. in anthropology in 2011 and was a research assistant in entomology and teaching assistant for Kiswahili during her career at the University of Georgia.
Research topics of interest include: militarization, peacebuilding, human rights, gender, age, phenomenology, political economy. Geographic research focus is East Africa and the Great Lakes Region of Africa.
