Abstract
Prof. Bethel and and her fellow panelists will discuss how redlining and other discriminatory government policies have hobbled Black communities with a lack of economic investment, depressed property values, underfunded schools and violence. The panel also will examine the role housing segregation has played in creating the crisis and explore effective solutions.
