About Allison Ferrara, MD

Dr. Allison Ferrara joined Osceola Care Specialists as a Core Faculty Member for the UCF/HCA Internal Medicine residency program in 2018. She works as both an academic hospitalist and primary care provider where she supervises residents in the inpatient and outpatient setting.

Dr. Ferrara was born in Lafayette, Louisiana and grew up in Orange Park, Florida. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition at the University of Florida. She earned her medical degree from Florida State University College of Medicine. Her internal medicine residency was completed at Brookwood Baptist Health System in Birmingham, Alabama where she also served as a Chief Resident. Following residency, she worked as a private hospitalist in Birmingham and most recently as an academic hospitalist at Tulane University Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr. Ferrara’s interest include graduate medical education, quality improvement, and transitional care of the hospitalized patient.
