About Alisa M Levin
My name is Alisa Levin, and I am a Chicago attorney and the principal of Levin Law, Ltd. where I work as a real estate attorney, handling complex real estate litigation, evictions, collections, appellate and construction litigation. I have written "Condominium Developers and Fiduciary Duties: An Unlikely Pairing?" because of the enormous onslaught of real estate developers who unscrupulously sell homes to unsuspecting consumers, without having secured proper permits, without completing construction and in all ways, having taken advantage of innocent consumers. My paper exposes new issues and recalls old ones, and makes suggestions for change in the way condominiums are bought and sold in this country.
