About Alicja Stannard

Alicja Stannard, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor of Exercise Science at Sacred Heart University. She earned her Ph.D. in Kinesiology from Michigan State University, with a focus on Exercise Physiology. Her research interests include physical activity in pregnant and postpartum women as well as various factors impacting athletic performance. She has consulted with Division I soccer teams on heart rate training and performed athlete testing of runners, hockey and basketball players.
