About Ali Simon Yusufu Bagaji

Ali Simon Yusufu Bagaji was an Education Trust Fund (ETF) scholar, and completed a PhD degree in Ethno-Political Studies at the University of Exeter, United Kingdom. Prior to Exeter, he was at the University of Wales, Swansea, United Kingdom, where he completed a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree in Politics specialising in Conflict Resolution. His academic career started at the Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, Nigeria, before moving over to the Kogi State University, Anyigba, Nigeria. At the Kogi State University, he was pioneer Head of Department of Management in the Faculty of Management Sciences. He later became the Director of the Consultancy Services Unit of the Kogi State University.
Bagaji is the author of the widely read book: Substance of Public Administration in Nigeria. He has also, conference proceedings and journal articles published by reputable international peer reviewed journals. His research interests are in Ethno-Political Studies, Peace and Conflict studies including resolution, Defense and Security Studies, Public Administration, Public Policy, and Urban Studies.
