Relation between Channel and Spatial Mesoscopic Correlations in Volume-Disordered WaveguidesPhysical Review B: Condensed Matter and Materials Physics
AbstractWe investigate the relationship between channel and spatial mesoscopic correlations in volume-disordered waveguides. We emphasize the importance of the surface escape function, which describes the distribution of transmitted flux among different channels, and we derive expressions for spatial field and intensity correlation functions directly from the channel ones.
