About Alexander Nwala

Professor Nwala joined the Data Science program at William & Mary in 2022. His research aims to improve our information networks by identifying malicious actors online as well as understand the U.S. through the lens of local media sources. Professor Nwala is the creator of StoryGraph, a cataloging platform computationally analyzes similarities within news cycles across 17 U.S. news sources. At William & Mary, Professor Nwala values his freedom as a professor to research topics that interest him and instruct the next generation of Data Science pioneers.
