Currently, I am a Professor in the School of Sport Science and Wellness Education at the University of Akron where my scholarly activity is focused on the history of sport psychology. Throughout my academic career I have been interested in helping to advance an understanding of the historical aspects of sport psychology and the sport exercise science discipline between 1890 and 1965. I have also been interested in understanding the academic and career development of student-athletes, as well as the career development and networking of students and professionals within the sport industry.
