Description

Description: Spirited Away (2001) is a Japanese animated film directed by Hayao Miyazaki. To date, it is the only hand-drawn feature to win the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature and has been acclaimed as the second “Best Film of the 21st Century” by The New York Times.

The film follows the fantastic journey of Chihiro Ogino, a moody ten-year-old whose family takes a fateful turn on their way to their new home, leaving them stranded in a fascinating and frightening world of spirits and sorceresses. Join us as we watch Chihiro navigate her way through this new world in what is one of Miyazaki’s most tender yet shrewd coming-of-age stories.
