For nearly five decades, the Pediatrics Residency Program at Advocate Children’s Hospital in Oak Lawn has dedicated itself to the well-rounded training of future Pediatricians. We strive for balance in academic and clinical training by providing hospital and community-based primary and tertiary care opportunities to patients and families of vast socioeconomic and cultural diversity. We accomplish this goal by paying individualized attention to the growth and overall well-being of each resident and offer a challenging, yet nurturing atmosphere for residents to augment their strengths and achieve their utmost potential.
