Abstract
This paper explores the strengths associated with integrating experiential learning from the classroom into the field for enhancing business aviation education, and proposes a model that combines traditional delivery methods that utilize flexible distance-based technologies in digital platforms. Field trips contribute to the development of student knowledge with real-world learning activities that allow students to refine critical-thinking skills. Within the Aviation Business Administration undergraduate degree program at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Singapore Campus, the use of field trips unveil the complexities found in the aviation industry and manufacturing areas to improve student learning outcomes.
