'Humanity i love you': Reparations for Victims in the Context of Poor and Fragile States
Abstract
International law guarantees victims of human rights violations a right to redress. Nonetheless, for many victims of human rights abuses, that guarantee remains unrealized and unattainable. This article outlines the current state of international law on the right to reparation and questions the extent to which human rights law is able to adequately address victims’ need for real and adequate redress.
