This paper deals with immigration to United States of America from all over the globe. The diversity of immigrants to this land of opportunity is a special feature and contributes substantially towards the economic, technological and social development of the country. The concentration of immigrants in some select States is discussed at length. The distribution of immigrants by their employment, wages, age, marital status and education is a special feature of this paper.
