About Yu-Hui Ching

Dr. Yu-Hui Ching began her academic teaching career as a visiting assistant professor in the Department of Educational Technology at Boise State University, and joined the tenure-track faculty in 2013. Dr. Ching has a Ph.D. in Instructional Systems with a minor in Educational Psychology from Pennsylvania State University. She also has an Ed.M. in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from State University of New York at Buffalo, and a B.BA. in Information Management, with teaching certification for middle and high school, from National Central University in Taiwan. In addition to teaching and conducting research in virtual learning communities and online learning, Dr. Ching serves as a reviewer for professional journal manuscripts and conference proposals. She is a member of the American Educational Research Association and the Association for Educational Communications and Technology.
