Abstract
Extract:
With the recent drafting of stalking legislation in most Western jurisdictions, our exposure to this crime is still relatively new. Although our contact with stalkers and their behavior is new in many ways, according to Sheridan, Blauuw, and Davies (2003, p. 148), "It may no longer be the case that stalking research is in its infancy and that we are feeling our way in the dark." With our general knowledge increasing exponentially, so too does our understanding of different types of stalking and stalkers.
