Abstract
The Canadian health services in Afghanistan range from first aid at the point of injury to advanced surgical capabilities at the Canadian-led Role 3 Multinational Medical Unit (MMU) located in Kandahar Air Field. Canadians serve all International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) as well as local nationals, Afghan security forces and injured detainees.
