Dr. Vicki Stieha joined Boise State University in August 2011 as the director of the Foundational Studies Program, and was appointed to the faculty of the Department of Curriculum, Instruction and Foundational Studies in 2012. She has a Ph.D. in Educational Studies from the University of Cincinnati, an M.Ed. in English Secondary Education from Xavier University, and a B.S. in Communication from Florida State University. Her background in higher education includes the design and administration of curriculum and programs to enhance students’ academic success. Dr. Stieha’s research interests include analyzing the reshaping of the undergraduate curriculum to meet the needs and challenges of today’s students.
