Dr. Folse is Director of the School of Nursing, Associate Professor of Nursing at Illinois Wesleyan University and Advanced Practice Nurse (Clinical Specialist in Adult Psychiatric Nursing) with prescriptive authority in the state of Illinois. She is also a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. Dr. Folse has 15 years of full-time eating disorder and 10 years of nursing management experience; she continues to work with clients and families and provides clinical supervision to the Eating Disorders and Behavioral Health Programs at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center, Peoria, Illinois. Her current teaching responsibilities include psychiatric nursing and nursing leadership and she is the First Year Advising Coordinator for the University. Dr. Folse has a solid publication record, an ongoing program of research with vulnerable populations, and lectures nationally and internationally.
