Dr Hunter completed her PhD at the University of Bergen, Norway. Her Doctoral thesis
is titled 'Legal Regulatory Framework for the Sustainable Extraction of Australian
Offshore Petroleum Resources: A Critical Functional Analysis'. 

Tina researches and teaches at Bond University, where she continues to develop her
interests in Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Jurisprudence, Mining Law, Petroleum
Law and Energy Law through her work as a full-time Assistant Professor. She is also a
researcher at the University of Bergen, where she is a member of the Legal Culture
Research Group and the Research Group for Natural Resources, Environment and Development
Law. 

Dr Hunter also completed a honours degree in estuarine marine sediments at the University
of Sydney, as well as Masters qualifications in research and information science. 

Dr Hunter consults to Australian and international government departments advising on law
and policy relating to offshore petroleum activities, shale and coal seam gas extraction
and mining and investment activities.
