The Women's Health Initiative. Evaluating Its Impact
Abstract
The release of the WHI (Women's Health Initiative) findings has provided women with more accurate, evidence-based information that can be used during their decision making about long-term hormonal therapy. Unfortunately it appears that uncertainty, confusion and fear have developed among many women. Nurses should take the lead by developing information and interventions to assist women through the decision process.
