About Terry Madden

Terry Madden came to Boise State University as a Reference Librarian in 1983 with a B.A. in History from the University of Portland (Oregon), and a Master's of Librarianship from the University of Washington in Seattle. In addition to her extensive reference and bibliographic instruction work, Terry has taught several sections of the UNIV 106 course, including two sections specifically for Health Sciences and Kinesiology students. She is currently the library liaison for the College of Health Sciences, the Kinesiology Department and the Honors College, and serves as the Albertsons Library Outreach Coordinator. Terry also heads the library's textbook project and collaborates with the Special Collections librarians to provide research support for the Boise State history project which is required of all Kinesiology 101 students. In addition to her work at the reference desk and in bibliographic instruction, Terry has written many book reviews of sports and reference titles for professional library journals.
