A Burmese translation (by H. Oo) of the English article published earlier in Transcend Media Service, and revised to reflect recent developments on the ground. This peace proposal, adopted by Myanmar's major newspaper, builds on the field research and dialogues conducted in 2013 to explore the roots of the ongoing conflict in Rakhine State, Myanmar, and presents a systematic, multi-angled approach that seeks to enable the communities on different sides to mitigate and transform the roots.
