Professor Sudhir Kale is widely regarded as a leading expert in the field of
international marketing and casino marketing and has established himself as a world
authority in this field. His research on social psychology, international marketing, and
gaming has been published in major social science journals. He has conducted over one
hundred executive development seminars all over the world in areas such as
business-to-business selling, cross-cultural communication, applications of the
Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) in management, corporate culture, managing
distribution channel relationships, and the marketing of casinos.

His model of strategically equivalent segmentation for global markets, co-authored with
Devanathan Sudharshan, is one of the most frequently cited articles in international
marketing literature. Executive development seminars on the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator
have received rave reviews from senior managers. Prior to his arrival at Bond University
he taught at the University of Illinois (Urbana-Champaign), Arizona State University,
National University of Singapore, University of South Carolina and at the University of
Nevada, Reno.

Some of his research focuses on behavioural issues in distribution channels and he
pioneered one of the first attempts to validate previous findings in economically and
geographically diverse market environments. Better understanding of the domain of
personal selling interactions was achieved through his examination of cross-national
selling. Professor Kale has published over fifty articles on the marketing and management
of casinos and consulted with some of the largest casino companies in the world.
