A clinical trial of the effect of aromatherapy on motivational behaviour in a dementia care setting using a single subject design
Abstract
An n=1 clinical trial of effectiveness of aromatherapy on motivational behaviour in a dementia care setting was undertaken using an AB design. Baseline data were recorded for two months, followed by two months of treatment data. Findings showed a statistically significant improvement in motivational behaviour associated with the use of aromatherapy.Suggested Citation
