I am a research fellow at the Centre for East and South-East Asian Studies at Lund University in Sweden. My research’s regional focus is China and my theoretical interests center around various approaches framed within the fields of new institutional economics and political economy. I am covering a rather broad range of topics such as financial markets, public administration, and innovation. Currently I am pursuing two projects – one on the effects of inter-jurisdictional competition in Zhejiang Province and a second on the role of universities in China’s emerging regional and national systems of innovation.
